Action Auction Company Inc. is a full service auction company located in Radcliff, KY. Founded in 1996 as a weekly auction house, we now conduct on site auctions of estates, commercial, farm and residential real estate as well as liquidations and personal property. There are currently 8 auctioneers, 4 of whom are also REALTORS and a supporting staff of 6 that enable us to conduct two to three auctions simultaneously when necessary. Steve Walton, President and Principal Auctioneer, is a member of both the Kentucky Auctioneers Association and the National Auctioneers Association. Our motto is "Action with Satisfaction."

The auction method of disposing of both real estate and personal property is fast becoming a preferred method and is no longer looked at as a "last resort" to selling. A professionally conducted auction induces active competition between bidders, driving prices up and resulting in more money for the seller.

Many factors must be considered when preparing for an auction. Should food be made available to retain the crowd? Will a tent be needed or should the items be moved to an indoor location? Are there enough items to conduct a sale for one seller or should two or more sellers consign items to a single sale to draw a larger crowd? What day of the week or time if day will be best? Properly placed advertising is critical to draw the largest crowd possible. Simply put, the more bidders, the more money for the seller. These and other details are worked out with the seller at the time the auction contract is made.

Is the auction method always the best in all situations for disposing of property? Not necessarily. Each situation demands an in-depth analysis that will benefit the seller in choosing the best method to obtain the highest dollar.
